Description Job Summary: Warehouse Stockers are responsible for keeping track of inventory, receiving and processing incoming stock, and picking and filling orders from stock. The main job is to ensure that all products are organized, stored, and delivered in a timely manner. The essential job functions include the following: Receive and process incoming stock and materials Pick and fill orders from stock Ensure accuracy and completeness of all orders Organize and maintain inventory Inspect products for damages or defects Keep warehouse clean and organized Operate forklifts or other machinery to move and store products Communicate effectively with other warehouse workers and supervisors Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations Perform other duties as assigned by management Requirements Requirements: Comfort with working at heights is essential for this position High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in a warehouse or stockroom environment preferred Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 100 lbs) which might involve being at a high altitude Ability to operate forklifts or other machinery safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic math and computer skills Knowledge of safety guidelines and regulations Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred but not required Working Conditions: Work is performed in a warehouse environment May be exposed to dust, noise, and other hazards May be required to work in varying temperatures May be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Physical Demands: Heavy lifting of boxes and items Frequent standing, walking, and bending ·Reaching, stretching, and extending arms Pushing and pulling material handling equipment Repetitive tasks and quick-paced work environment This job requires lifting and moving furniture pieces up to 100 lbs , and standing for long periods of time We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
