McKinley Ave - Mishawaka, Indiana 46545 Job Description: Stocker/Receiver Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor and Central Bakery Manager Job Profile: Clerk 1, Sanitation-Central Bakery Business Title: Sanitation-Central Bakery Position Summary: Responsible for receiving stock from suppliers and putting the stock away in storage areas while following defined procedures and processes relating to allergen coding, lot number coding, rotation of stock and upkeep of stock area. Start wage: $17.00 Schedule: Start time: 6am; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday Overtime frequent and required Schedule may change on production needs and holidays Education: High School Diploma. Certification may be required. Qualifications: Requires the ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment, basic math and reading skills to count stock and check supply order sheets. Physical Requirements: Must frequently sit, walk, and stand; be able to use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects. Must frequently walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with the hands and arms. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed. While performing the duties of this position, employees are subject to a warehouse environment and may frequently be exposed to changes in temperature and humidity based on assignment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Requires constant bending, stretching, and good eye/hand coordination. Strong shoulders and back necessary. Other Duties: Drive bakery van and make deliveries to stores or other locations as required Varies according to production needs, occasionally may be required to work in production areas or in pan room. Environmental Conditions: Exposed to constant indoor temperatures of 75 degrees or higher, freezer temperatures and hot and cold outdoor conditions. Chemicals: Cleaning solutions and mineral oil. Also, vehicle chemicals (oil, DEF solution, other cleaning & chemicals) Noise: loud machines. Odors: yeast, dough, oils, grease.
