Job Description Te kaupapa o te tūranga – About the role This is a permanent, full-time position with the following hours of work: Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm As the lead Stockroom team member, you'll be the driving force behind ensuring our stock is organized and ready for working onto shelves and to drive our sales. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a tidy, efficient and well-controlled stockroom will be key to our success. You will need to be an in-charge personality for ultimate success in this role. Candidates with F endorsed or full New Zealand driver's license are preferred as the operating of a forklift is an essential requirement of the role (we can send team members on a training course to gain a forklift endorsement). Your responsibilities will include the following: Ensuring all stock received is processed appropriately and within the appropriate guidelines as well as in a timely manner. Manage and control stockroom processes (and team working in that space) to deliver effective and efficient outcomes. Ensure the stockroom area is fully maintained and kept neat and tidy, including daily sweeping. Manage pallets (floor and racking) and stock is being delivered appropriately using a forklift. Processing recycling and other waste correctly. Adhere to health and safety standards. Understand the importance of positive team dynamics. You'll also understand the importance of teamwork and will contribute to positive working relationships with our Shopfloor and Fill teams. Things need to happen "with speed" in this environment. Qualifications He kōrero mōu ake – About you To excel in this role, you ideally have: Interest in stockroom co-ordination, control and management. Ability to pay close attention to very small detail. Physical capability to handle heavy lifting, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods of time.
