Description We are seeking a skilled Heavy Haul Rigging Yard Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of heavy equipment and machinery within the yard. The ideal candidate will have experience with rigging practices, operating heavy equipment, and maintaining a strong commitment to safety. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and other rigging equipment to move heavy machinery and equipment within the yard Load and unload heavy equipment and machinery from trucks and trailers Secure loads using chains, straps, and other rigging equipment to ensure safe transportation Inspect rigging equipment and materials to ensure they are in safe working condition Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment as needed Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment Assist team members with yard operations and heavy haul preparation as required Requirements Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy equipment rigging, yard operations, or heavy haul transportation Knowledge of rigging equipment, load securement, and safe rigging techniques Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or similar heavy machinery Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment If you are a dependable and safety-focused professional with heavy haul and rigging experience, we encourage you to apply and become part of our team.
