We are seeking skilled and dedicated banker mason to work on some of the most significant historic buildings in the UK. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a passion for historic buildings. DESIRABLE QUALITIES

  • Proven experience in masonry work with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • A passion for masonry and/or historic buildings.
  • Experience with templating and setting out.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to stonemasonry.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements. If you are passionate about craftsmanship in masonry and are looking for an opportunity to showcase your skills, we encourage you to apply for this position as a Stonemason.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing, carving and dressing stone.
  • Carrying out bench-based studio works.
  • Carrying out some site-based works (company vehicles provided for these).
  • Ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship are consistently upheld.
  • Collaborate with team members on larger projects, contributing ideas and expertise.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
