To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Storage Administrator (m/f/d) who will contribute their expertise to the provision, maintenance and optimisation of our storage infrastructure.
These exciting tasks await you:
- Operation and administration of parallel file systems (IBM Spectrum Scale/GPFS, DDN Exascaler/Lustre, NetApp)
- Setup and optimisation of shared file systems for HPC and VMware environments
- Setup, configuration and tuning of Lustre file systems
- Administration and optimisation of NAS/SAN environments (NFS, SMB, …)
- Configuration of snapshots, cloning and tiering for effiicient data backup
- Integration of the storage infrastructure with VMware and backup systems
- Analysis of I/O patterns and bottlenecks to optimise performance
- Implementation of snapshots, replication and disaster recovery solutions
- 1st and 2nd level support

- The ability to solve complex problems independently
Our requirements:
- Ideally a degree in computer science or equivalent training
- You have a solid familiarity with storage administration and have preferably already gained experience in this area
- Experience in the administration and optimisation of Linux systems
- Competence in network protocols such as NFS and SMB for file sharing
- Knowledge of RAID configurations for data availability and security
- Implementation of high availability and disaster recovery solutions
- Secure troubleshooting in GPFS, Lustra and NetApp
- Certificates in GPFS, Lustre and/or NetApp are an advantage
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
