  Your Responsibilities
  Excellent research needs state-of-the-art IT infrastructure and innovative digital services. With a team of about 50 experts, we will redesign the institute’s digital landscape over the next few years and implement an ambitious transformation programme to facilitate the institute’s rapid growth.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced storage and backup administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our storage and backup systems, as well as providing support to our team. • Design, deploy and maintain IT systems, focusing on storage and backup Systems
• Develop and maintain scripts for automated management
• Provide 2nd-level and 3rd-level IT support for our users
• Document server and service configurations and create user documentation
• Respond to software and hardware incidents and outages

Your Profile

• Proven experience in storage and backup administration
• Ideally knowledge of IBM Spectrum Protect
• Experience with SAN and NAS solutions from vendors such as NetApp and Dell
• Good working knowledge of network principles (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, FC, DHCP, DNS)
• Ideally experience with VMware virtualization
• Experience with automation tools
• Used to work with IT service management and IT security frameworks (ITIL, ISO 27001)
