What you'll do: Responsibilities: As a Test Architect, Responsible and Accountable for product QA of Backup Appliance product StoreOnce Having In-depth understanding of complex enterprise class storage device testing that spans a wide QA scope that includes platform management, storage stack validation, protocol testing, and the full set of manageability layers. Responsible for the overall Quality of StoreOnce across both functional and non-functional areas including performance, scalability, supportability, security, usability, etc. Provides Technical Leadership and Strategic Direction to the Product Design and Architecture Is involved in understanding Business/Marketing requirements and works with the development team to make any design improvements and refinement as needed. Responsible for analyzing the complex field issues and proactively come up with left shift strategy Analyzes competitive products and technologies and makes appropriate suggestions to influence product / technology direction has overall product knowledge and is able to guide both junior and senior team members What you need to bring: Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent. Typically 15+ years’ experience. Knowledge and Skills: Overall 15+ years of industry experience with at least 5+ years of working experience in Storage stack and Storage platform Very good understanding of FC, iSCSI, NAS, File system domain knowledge Excellent track record of delivering high quality solutions on schedule as a product owner/scrum master Experience in leading overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions. Designing and integrating efficient and scalable software systems running on multiple platform types into overall architecture. Evaluating and selecting forms and processes for software systems testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools with customer mindset. History of innovation with multiple patents or deployed solutions in the field of system software. Strong leadership skills, including mentoring and coaching juniors in the team Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities

As a Test Architect, the individual is responsible and accountable for product QA of the Backup Appliance product StoreOnce, requiring an in-depth understanding of complex enterprise-class storage device testing across platform management, storage stack validation, and protocol testing. This role provides technical leadership and strategic direction to the Product Design and Architecture, analyzing complex field issues and proactively developing left-shift strategies.
