Description

The Store Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records of all stock, purchases, and inventory movements within the restaurant store. The role ensures proper documentation, cost control, and compliance with company policies and financial procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or restaurant ERP).
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, cost accounting, and stock audits.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per mont
Responsibilities
  • Maintain daily records of store inventory and stock movements.
  • Monitor goods received and issued from the store and ensure proper documentation.
  • Track purchase orders, supplier invoices, and verify price and quantity accuracy.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock and financial reports.
  • Perform regular stock audits and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team for stock replenishment.
  • Monitor food and beverage cost variances and wastage.
  • Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) is followed in inventory handling.
  • Post transactions in accounting software and assist in month-end closing.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting related to store operations.
  • Coordinate with auditors during internal or external audits.
