OVERVIEW

We are looking for a mature and self-motivated team player, who loves animals, to join our fantastic team. Part time role, must be able to work both weekends and weekdays, along with additional holiday and sick cover. Candidate needs to hold a current UK driving license and be capable of lifting up to 25kg and be physically fit. Someone with a genuine love for animals.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to engage effectively with customers
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs
  • Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding products and services (staff training will be available)
  • Maintain a clean and organised shop floor and warehouse
  • Take goods out to the cars for customers
  • Assist with stock replenishment in both shop and warehouse
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Be able to take instruction and work well as a team player
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the till
