We are looking to recruit a Store Assistant / Warehouse Operative to join a highly successful, established, family run business that has an outstanding reputation within the Agricultural industry.
Store duties will involve dealing with and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner, checking and unpacking deliveries, picking orders, stocking shelves and maintaining a clean and well presented Store at all times. Warehouse duties will involve assisting our Delivery Drivers, loading and unloading vehicles, both manually and with a forklift, and generally keeping the yard and warehouse clean and tidy. The position may also involve making multi drop deliveries to customers in our trading area when required
The role involves a degree of manual handling so candidates will need to be physically fit. A full driving licence is required. Forklift training will be provided. The full time hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and one Saturday in six.
This is an active role and you will be working as part of a close knit team in a friendly environment. Applicants should be enthusiastic, reliable, have a positive work attitude and be comfortable talking to customers.
