Description
.Job Purpose To perform storekeeping activities for materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring proper receipt, storage, issuance, and record-keeping in compliance with company procedures. The role supports operational requirements by maintaining accurate inventory and facilitating smooth material flow within the store. Key Accountability Areas Material Receiving Receive delivered materials, verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes. Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues to the supervisor. Ensure proper documentation for all received items. Storage and Inventory Management Store materials in designated locations, following storage guidelines and safety procedures. Maintain accurate stock records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP). Assist in conducting periodic physical stock counts and reconciling differences. Material Issuance Issue materials based on approved requests or job orders. Record material issuance in the system promptly and accurately. Ensure proper handling and packaging of items for issuance or transfer. Housekeeping and Safety Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas. Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and damage to materials. Report any unsafe conditions or practices to the supervisor. Documentation and Reporting Maintain up-to-date records of material transactions. Prepare daily or periodic reports on stock movement and availability. Support audit processes by providing required records and documentation. Coordination and Support Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and maintenance teams for timely supply of materials. Support loading and unloading activities as required.   Role Accountability HR Proficiency: Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job. Delivery: Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules. Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time. Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks. Problem-Solving: Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues. Quality: Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities. Business Process Improvements: Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible. Compliance: Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions. Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
