We are a small family, high end, gourmet artisanal European-style Chocolate store looking for the right person to join our team. Everything is made in-house, and we do all the packaging by hand. Our presentation is our brand, so we are particular that everyone pack and bow the gifts the same. We do it all from helping in the kitchen, packing, bowing, shipping, waiting on customers, keeping the shop clean and stocked. We are on our feet all day.

Responsibilities include:

• Be happy, personable, love people, able to multi-task, and be quick on your feet. We have a high level of customer service that we provide, and we are known for it.
• Retail Store Sales – learning and knowing our products to help guide customers to purchase what they would like.
• Retail Store Maintenance – keep the chocolate cases filled, and product fully stocked & carefully displayed throughout the store.
• Trimming chocolate novelties and packaging in the bags and boxes for sale.
• Process payments in store
• Process online orders through our e-commerce site
• Packaging gift and the shipping boxes
• Using software to process shipments
• Maintaining catalog availabilities online
• Customer service correspondence with customers on phone and online to handle order issues
• Building boxes and packaging for use with products

We are a very small group, so working well with, and in close proximity to, other team members is very important. It is essential to have the ability to lift at least 25 lbs., and you must be able to reach, bend, stoop, handle stairs, carry with care and accuracy.
Belgian Chocolatier Piron is an award-winning and internationally recognized Chocolatier, serving the Chicago area since 1983. Everything is made in-house in our Evanston kitchen, using bulk chocolate imported from Belgium, and flavors and ingredients from all over the world. We make all of our delicacies by hand with great care and skill, and never are any preservatives, stabilizers or extenders used. Hours are 10am to 6:30/7:30pm. Must be able to work Saturdays, and be able to work through the holiday seasons.
