M.J. Bale is looking for an experienced Store Business Manager to lead our Claremont Quarter store.

We’re an Australian menswear brand known for quality tailoring, natural fibres and exceptional service. We’re also a certified B Corp and Official Tailor to the Australian Test cricket team, the Wallabies and the Socceroos.

About the role

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll take ownership of the store’s performance, develop your team and build a strong local client base.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, coaching and developing the store team
• Driving sales and achieving store KPIs
• Building relationships with new and returning customers
• Delivering expert advice across suiting, fit and styling
• Managing rosters, stock and day-to-day store operations
• Maintaining high visual merchandising and presentation standards
• Creating a positive and results-focused team culture

• Retail management experience, ideally in premium fashion or menswear
• A strong sales record and confidence working towards targets
• The ability to motivate and develop a team
• Strong customer service and clienteling skills
• A good eye for styling, presentation and detail
• A hands-on and organised approach
• Availability across a seven-day retail roster
