YOU WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH:

  • Providing administrative and project support within the retail or building industry
  • Reading and understanding architectural drawings
  • Familiarity with other building and design documentation – scope of works, joinery shop drawings, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint (AutoCAD experience is a plus)
  • Tracking spending against budgets, and processing invoices
  • Coordinating suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to meet project deadlines
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and schedules
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Working collaboratively to support multiple departments and teams

Responsibilities

THE ROLE…

Reporting to the National Store Development Manager, the Store Development Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the seamless delivery of store development and retail projects across Beaumont Tiles’ stores nationwide. This role involves a combination of administrative coordination, project support, and communication with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure everything runs to schedule and within budget.

THIS ROLE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

  • Coordinating project meetings and tracking activities
  • Managing project cost tracking documentation
  • Overseeing display fixtures inventory and approving stock requests for retail stores
  • Supporting store facilities team, reviewing logged jobs, and liaising with contractors where required
  • Obtaining and reviewing quotes against project scope
  • Maintaining procurement and project documentation
  • Coordinating orders and deliveries with internal teams such as warehouse, IT, safety and merchandising
  • Scheduling works with contractors and suppliers, whilst ensuring compliance requirements are met
  • Building strong working relationships with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
