JOB BRIEF

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Store Dispatch Associate to join our team at Bobsons Workwear.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the movement of stock from receiving to dispatch, ensuring that all items are accurately packed, in excellent condition, and delivered on time. You’ll work closely with the store team and warehouse to maintain high customer satisfaction in line with company timelines.

  • Strong multitasking abilities – able to juggle several tasks without compromising accuracy.
  • Exceptional attention to detail – ensuring that no item is missed or misplaced.
  • Proactive problem-solving – able to troubleshoot and resolve stock issues quickly.
  • Team player – works collaboratively to achieve common goals.
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Good interpersonal skills and a positive work ethic.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Post-matric qualification will be an advantage
  • Previous experience in a dispatch, logistics, or stock control role preferred

Responsibilities
  • Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch to customers.
  • Receive incoming stock and verify that physical quantities match purchase orders/invoices. Report any discrepancies to management.
  • Manage inventory storage, including correct housing of new products and re-shelving returns.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
  • Perform regular stock counts and participate in stocktakes.
  • Ensure timeous and accurate dispatch of customer and store orders.
  • Assist with inbound and outbound delivery coordination and paperwork.
  • Monitor and update stock levels on the system to avoid over/understocking.
  • Follow company processes for returns, exchanges, and damaged stock handling.
  • Communicate with store team, sales team, and warehouse to ensure all dispatch-related issues are resolved promptly.
  • Flag and prevent potential packing or delivery errors.
  • Assist in labelling, barcoding, and product tagging where needed.
  • Maintain accountability for dispatch accuracy and speed.
