Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Store In-Charge to manage the daily operations of a perfume and cosmetics retail store. The ideal candidate should have strong retail leadership, sales, customer service, and team management skills, with good knowledge of perfumes and cosmetics.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the store.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Monitor daily sales, KPIs, and individual staff performance.
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer complaints professionally.
- Maintain strong product knowledge of perfumes, cosmetics, and related products.
- Assist customers with product selection and provide suitable recommendations.
- Ensure proper stock management, replenishment, and inventory accuracy.
- Monitor product displays, visual merchandising, and store presentation.
- Ensure proper handling of cash, POS transactions, and daily sales reports.
- Monitor stock movement, damages, expiry dates, and shortages.
- Coordinate with the warehouse, management, and HR regarding operational requirements.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales and store reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, grooming standards, and operational procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive store environment.
- Support promotional activities, new product launches, and brand campaigns.
- Train and develop staff on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service.
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, and discipline of store employees.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of retail experience, preferably in perfume, cosmetics, beauty, or luxury retail.
- Previous experience as a Store In-Charge, Store Supervisor, or Senior Sales Associate.
- Strong sales and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of perfumes, cosmetics, and beauty products.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and manage store KPIs.
- Good knowledge of POS and basic reporting.
- Well-groomed, confident, and professional personality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays as required.
