Roles & Responsibilities

Job Objective:

To support the Inventory Control & Store Management functions of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure optimum inventory and stock availability as per the approved procedures.
2. Handle stock and inventory control activates.
3. Checking and receiving of goods into stock and placing items onto the shelf/stock location.
4. Tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received to take remedial actions
5. Issuing items/ materials to users as per requirement.
6. Review of item requirements of non stock items from users.
7. Oversee the physical withdrawal of stock, retrieving stock from its location, packaging and dispatch.
8. Arrange delivery and collection of material/ items as per requirement.
9. Prepare Purchase requisitions for the inventory based on reorder level and as per the requirement.
10. Preparing and updating the records for all incoming, outgoing and return of stock
11. Conducting periodical review and physical stock inventories & Review of stock holding level from time to time keeping in view the consumption pattern, lead-time, etc for each material/item.
12. Assist in identification of non-moving/surplus and obsolete /damaged materials or items to recommend for their disposal.
13. Maintaining all records related to the inventory control & store management and prepare required reports as per the approved policies and procedure.
14. Any additional tasks assigned by department head
