As a Store Lead, Retail, you’ll be part of a team that keeps our ski resort guests smiling – from cozy mittens to mountain-ready merch. Whether it’s Blue Mountain Supply Co., The North Face, Burton, Red Devil Sports or Blue Basin, we have logo wear to mountain essentials for every guests. Greet guests with warmth and guide them through our four-part selling style — Welcome, Initiate, Suggest, Help. Learn all about our products and help guests find exactly what they need for a great day on the mountain or in the village. (Don’t worry, we do lots of product knowledge training for you!) Support daily retail operations including sales, merchandising, and inventory management. Provide direction to sales associates, promote a culture of teamwork and lead by example. Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and end-of-day reporting. Serve as the first point of contact for guest questions about gear, apparel, and resort services. Assist with onboarding and training new associates on products, policies, and guest service practices. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? Previous retail experience is preferred. Comfortable working indoors — it can get lively when the slopes are busy! Flexibility to work which includes weekends, evenings, holidays — we’re all about teamwork and good vibes. Ability to communicate, solve problems, strong decision-making skills and attention to detail. Ability to perform frequent lifting and carrying and stand for long periods of time.
