KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Possess 2 or more years of supervisory management experience, gasoline industry preferred
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Possess strong computer skills
  • Must be available via phone after regular business hours, weekends and holidays
  • Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts and assist other locations as needed
  • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to communicate effectively with associates and guests
  • Ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork
  • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to operate the store
  • Ability to work in a fast aced environment
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds on occasion
  • Ability to freely access all area of the store including, selling floor, stock area, and register area
  • Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel and/or crouch during a shift
  • Ability to climb ladders/stairs

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for overall management of the store
  • Responsible and accountable for the management of all employees and their development
  • Recruit, hire, train, motivate, develop, discipline and terminate employees using appropriate documentation (i.e. new hire packets, reference checks, communication forms etc.) and approval process
  • Schedule, monitor & be accountable for controlling payroll hours
  • Audit and complete required daily paperwork and submit by deadline
  • Responsible to make daily bank deposits by deadlines
  • Responsible for handling employee and customer complaints and grievances
  • Maintain Grand Open Ready standards
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation of interior and exterior of facilities according to Company and brand requirements
  • Ensures store is secure and safe and complies with all safety and environmental guidelines. Reports issues to proper authority and management when necessary
  • Responsible for controlling flow and distribution of all merchandising supplies, including product ordering, receiving merchandise and vendor relations
  • Promotes a high level of customer service
  • Ensures procedures are implemented and adhered to while protecting company assets
  • Responsible for monitoring and implementing legal compliance measures including site audit/inspections
  • Troubleshoots and handles maintenance of store equipment
  • Ensure adequate gasoline levels as well as coordinate gasoline deliveries
  • Must be available 24 hours a day 7 days per week unless on Leave of Absence or vacation
  • Keep accurate fuel inventory records (red book), and report any excessive variations
  • Maintain accurate compliance binder
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations
  • Implement all Company promotional initiatives
  • Control and be accountable for cash over /short to $200 per month or less and maintain inventory variations to .5% of sales or less
