Store Manager – Barwon Heads IGA

Lead a store where the commute ends at the beach.

Barwon Heads IGA is a locally owned, family-run supermarket at the heart of one of Victoria's best coastal towns. We were named IGA Store of the Year (Medium Store category) in 2025, and we're looking for a hands-on Store Manager to keep us at that level and push us further.

This isn't a head-office job where you're a number. You'll have real say in how the store runs, and you'll see your results every day, then finish your shift a few minutes from the river and the surf.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop a team of 60+ staff

• Own rostering, wages and store targets

• Keep shelves full, the floor tidy and customers coming back

• Work directly with the owner on promotions, ranging and store growth

What you'll bring

• Supermarket or retail management experience

• A people-first leadership style: you coach, you don't just direct

• Commercial sense: you understand margin, wastage and wage %
