Full-Time Deli & Store Manager

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and reliable Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will have previous retail, deli or food service management experience and will be confident leading a team, managing day-to-day operations and providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous management experience, preferably in retail, deli or food service
• Be confident leading and motivating a team
• Have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Be organised and able to work well under pressure
• Be reliable, hardworking and have a positive attitude
• Have good knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP procedures
• Be confident with stock control, ordering and managing waste
• Be comfortable dealing with customers and resolving any issues
• Have good availability throughout the week

Key responsibilities:

• Managing the day-to-day running of the store and deli
• Leading, training and supporting staff
• Creating and managing staff rotas
• Ensuring excellent customer service at all times
• Managing stock, deliveries and ordering
• Monitoring food quality, presentation and freshness
• Ensuring the deli and store are clean, organised and fully compliant with food safety standards
• Managing cash handling and daily procedures
• Helping to achieve sales and business targets
• Dealing with customer queries and resolving issues professionally
• Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed
• Leading by example and creating a positive working environment

This is a full-time position, and we are looking for someone who is flexible and available to work midweek and weekends when required.

Previous management experience is preferred. We are looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable and enjoys working as part of a team, while also being confident taking responsibility and making decisions.
