Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Store Manager, you will be the driving force behind our newest location. You’ll lead a passionate front and back-of-house team, ensure seamless daily operations, and continue to deliver the signature Cow and the Moon experience our customers love.
You’ll work closely with the Owners and Kitchen Team to bring our distinctive culture to life, both within the team and out into the wider community. We’re looking for someone who leads with positivity, clear communication, and adaptability—especially in the fast-paced, ever-changing environment of hospitality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee day-to-day store operations at the New Sydney Fish Market
  • Lead, train and support FOH and kitchen teams
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and foster strong customer relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with the Owners and Management Team
  • Manage inventory and stock ordering
  • Maintain food safety and OH&S standards
  • Lead monthly shift leader meetings and implement structured team communication
  • Assist with recruitment and team development
  • Contribute to business strategy, system improvements and growth initiatives
  • Champion a positive, fun, and professional work environment focused on accountability and teamwork
  • Act as the main point of contact for all staff at the venue
