About the role

dollar curtains + binds are seeking a skilled and experienced Store Manager for our Ferntree Gully store who will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store and ensuring that sales targets are met. You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with customers.

Duties

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling and inventory management.
• Meet and exceed sales targets by driving sales and developing customer relationships.
• Train, coach and develop team members to ensure they are providing exceptional customer service.
• Managing staffing levels and schedule staff according to business needs.
• Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Ensure that the store is always clean, well-organized, and visually appealing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations

Skills & Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with inventory management and cash handling.
• A passion for home décor and window furnishings is a plus.
