Store Manager - DrFix Dunfermline
We’re looking for a new Store Manager at DrFix in Dunfermline! Our current manager is moving on to pursue their degree, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven individual to step into this key role.

DrFix has been a trusted High Street presence in Dunfermline since 2004, providing essential repair and retail services to the community. We specialise in:

  • Watch Repairs
  • Phone Repairs
  • Engraving
  • Key Cutting

About the Role
As our Store Manager, you’ll be instrumental in the day-to-day operations and continued success of DrFix Dunfermline. This is a hands-on role where your leadership and business acumen will directly impact our performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and Developing Your Team: Recruiting, training, supervising, and appraising staff to ensure a high-performing and motivated team.
  • Financial Management: Managing budgets and maintaining accurate statistical and financial records.
  • Customer Excellence: Handling customer queries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Inventory & Pricing: Overseeing pricing strategies and effective stock control.
  • Driving Profitability: Maximising profitability, setting and achieving sales targets, and motivating your team to reach these goals.
  • Compliance: Ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Merchandising & Promotion: Preparing engaging promotional materials and displays.
  • Communication: Liaising effectively with other parts of the business.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a retail or service-oriented environment is essential.
  • Proven managerial or supervisory experience is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of, or direct experience with, phone or watch repairs is highly advantageous and will guarantee an interview.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to motivate a team.
