Description Position starts at $67,250-$73,600 (dependent upon experience) with annual merit increases and production bonuses. SUMMARY Manages, leads and operates a used computer/electronics retail store, online store, and e-cycling by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are listed below in order of importance, from most important to least important. Ensures compliance with all established Agency policies, procedures and practices. Directs activities orally, written and physically for retail store to ensure that net performance provides satisfactory financial support for the organization by managing sales and production, controlling expenses and payroll budgets, handling personnel issues, accounting, merchandising, loss prevention and development of staff. Verifies that the quality and quantity of computers, games, and electronic equipment is adequate to obtain sales goals. Ensures the production, shipping, and quality control of the entire online selling process is adequate to obtain sales goals, on-time shipping, and quality customer service Maintains adequate production of donations through data destruction and software installation through close team member supervision, training and procedures. Maintains compliance with all applicable DOD standards, etc. that affect the privacy of information that may be stored on computer systems, hard drives, and/or any peripheral attachments. Manages the E-cycling staff to maintain inventory and sustain sales and salvage. Coordinates shipments and pick-ups while insuring product flow. Works with the E-cycling staff to improve the de-manufacturing process. Responds to customer questions, problems and complaints. Resolves issues to maintain customer satisfaction. Ensures that merchandise is priced in accordance with established standards. Implements seasonal planograms, floor sets, store signage, and sales promotion activities. Works with WDS/Retail (Pathways) liaison to insure service programs as working properly at store level. Supervises store staff; see Supervisory Responsibilities below. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises store team members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Agency's policies and procedures. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and budget management. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Performs work of subordinates as needed. Serves as a member of the Donated Goods Management Team. Reports the need for building and equipment repairs to the Director of Facilities and/or Director, E-Commerce. Performs other job-related tasks as assigned by Director, E-Commerce. A.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school in Computer Science or related field and three years of retail management experience as a Store Manager; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid Driver's License (Class C), car insurance and reliable automobile.
