Every sale in our retail stores directly funds job training, employment placement, and community support services for individuals facing barriers to employment. When you join Goodwill, you're not just managing a store — you're advancing a mission that changes lives every single day. Starting salary is $47,000, must have open availability. What you will do: Oversee the behavior of all hourly personnel and be responsible for operating a safe, clean, and friendly place of business. Act in a leadership capacity demonstrating professional behavior and decision-making, effective interpersonal communication skills, and set an example for all Goodwill staff. Required to work one weekend day per month, and one close shift per week (unless otherwise approved by supervisor). Meet all store sales and production goals. Provide excellent customer service, including greeting and assisting customers and donors promptly. Develop and implement store operating plans. Regularly read, understand, and analyze store reports. Maintain a store standard of cleanliness, organization, physical repair, and a safe place of business. Accurately complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time. Assist in maintaining daily and weekly cash handling and banking procedures. Maintain merchandising standards in stocking and resets, following sizing, categorizing, and pricing guidelines; maintain all backroom operating standards. Hire and train staff. Contribute to the development and character of staff and perform written employee evaluations. Implement and enforce store procedures and Goodwill policy on a day-to-day basis.
