GENERAL MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary: Lead our takeout restaurant team to exceed customer expectations and embody our vision of being the go-to spot for wholesome beverages and tropical comfort food. Uphold core values: Delivering Happiness, Fostering Growth, Maintaining Cleanliness, and Striving for Excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Great communication - speak and write in English and Spanish
  • On-call for business emergencies
  • Must work a consistent schedule of 5+ days a week and be available for business emergencies
  • Experience leading a team
  • Valid Manager Food Safety Certification (reimbursement after 30 days of completion) must submit a copy of the certificate.
  • Successful completion of all starting and subordinate position training programs
  • Adequate transportation to make bank deposits attend meetings and business emergencies
  • Minimum age 19+ years old
  • Own and operate a smartphone

Responsibilities
  • Create weekly schedules and ensure team alignment.
  • Maintain presence for at least 45 hours/week
  • Work three weekends/month, including closing shifts.
  • Screen, interview, and onboard new team members via established procedures.
  • Conduct training using online resources and hands-on certifications.
  • Manage product inventory using Marketman.
  • Place timely orders and adjust levels to maintain COGS budget.
  • Report and resolve product shortages promptly.
  • Oversee customer service processes and product preparation.
  • Hold regular meetings to review performance and communicate goals.
  • Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings for feedback and growth goals.
  • Conduct quarterly Performance Reviews for team members.
  • Manage team growth via our Learning Management System.
  • Handle weekly tasks, including invoices and filing.
  • Daily restaurant walkthroughs to uphold standards.
  • Foster an environment aligned with our vision and core values.
