Chickys is looking for a dynamic, hands-on Store Manager to lead our day-to-day operations. In this role, you will be on the front lines—actively working on the till, maintaining customer service standards, and ensuring our store operates smoothly. You will be responsible for stock management, inventory control, and making sure all team members follow store procedures and safety standards consistently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations & Customer Service

Work directly on the till/POS system, processing orders accurately and efficiently.

Lead by example on the floor, delivering fast, friendly, and high-quality customer service.

Open and close the store, manage cash drawers, and handle daily register reconciliations.

2. Stock Management & Inventory Control

Oversee store stock levels, conduct regular audits, and minimize waste or loss.

Handle ordering, receiving, checking deliveries, and storing products correctly (including FIFO compliance).

Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and delivery teams.

3. Team Management & Compliance

Ensure all team members consistently adhere to company procedures, health & safety, and hygiene standards.

Supervise, train, and guide staff on customer service, register operation, and store maintenance.

Assist with staff scheduling, ensuring adequate floor coverage during peak times.

Address team questions or performance issues promptly and constructively.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Previous supervisory or management experience in retail or food service/QSR.

Hands-on Approach: Comfortable with active, on-the-floor work including till operation and stock handling.

Skills: Strong numerical skills, attention to detail with stock control, and reliable organization.

Leadership: Great communication skills with the ability to lead a small team and maintain standards.

Location: Must be legally eligible to work in Ireland and able to commute to Dublin.
