STORE MANAGER – RADCLIFFE ON TRENT

We put all pet’s health and well-being first. All our teams receive extensive training from Hannah Molloy of Channel 4’s Puppy School to give all our customers and their pets the very best and most up to date advice.
With 25 stores all open 7 days a week for all pet needs from raw feeding and natural deli treats to hay and rabbit food.
We are recruiting or a Store Manager for our brand new, purpose built Radcliffe on Trent store which is located on Bingham Road.
As passionate pet people, Just for Pets have a genuine desire to provide the best possible shopping experience for our customer and their pets across our 25 stores. So, whether they’re shopping with us online or instore, our friendly and knowledgeable teams are here to help.

Job duties:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, presentation standards and inventory management in whatever store you are based in on a given day.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability.
  • Train and supervise store team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service, standards, and advice.
  • Monitor inventory levels as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including cash handling, health and safety, and security protocols.
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional activities to drive sales.
  • Work closely with the wider Head Office team.
  • To ensure that the core people processes such as probation, absence management, holiday management is carried out in a timely manner.

Required Skills:

  • Retail management experience in a previous role, ideally in a similar industry
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and manage store operations efficiently.
  • Proven track record in sales management, including the ability to analyse sales data and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing a team of employees.
  • Ability to effectively manage resources, including inventory, budgets, and labour.

Pay: £24,999.00-£26,190.00 per year
