  • Direct, control, evaluate and organize daily gas station and convenience store operations.
  • Manage employees, assign duties, coordinate work schedules and oversee staff performance.
  • Determine staffing requirements and participate in recruitment, hiring and employee training.
  • Plan budgets, monitor sales, revenues and operating expenses, and maintain financial records.
  • Oversee payroll administration, cash management and daily sales reconciliation.
  • Determine merchandise and services to be offered, including convenience-store products.
  • Manage inventory, coordinate purchasing, select suppliers and maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Implement pricing policies, promotional activities and local marketing strategies.
  • Monitor customer demand, sales trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Resolve customer complaints, supplier issues and inventory shortages.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable workplace safety, security and operational procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records using point-of-sale systems, inventory software, spreadsheets and other administrative tools.
