JOB SUMMARY:

The Store Manager will play a key leadership role to drive store performance through exceptional customer service, effective team management, and strategic sales execution. This position ensures that daily operations align with brand standards, business objectives, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will lead by example, motivate a high-performing team, and contribute to the continued success and growth of the store.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the fashion retail industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of luxury or premium fashion retail operations.
  • Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia/English; knowledge of a foreign language (e.g., Mandarin, French, Arabic) is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with a strong focus on sales, customer service, and team leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build relationships across all levels.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop teams toward achieving business goals.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, responsible, and adaptable to a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

    - Familiarity with retail KPIs, reporting tools, and POS systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Store Operations & Performance Management*
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations.
- Drive and monitor sales performance to meet or exceed set targets.
- Implement strategies and initiatives that contribute to business growth and profitability.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize merchandise mix and inventory levels.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of daily reports, including sales, reconciliation, billing, and bank statements to head office and direct manager.
Customer Experience & Service Excellence
- Deliver and maintain superior customer service standards across all touchpoints.
- Work closely with the Training Department to ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer experience.
- Foster a proactive selling culture focused on converting walk-in customers into loyal clients.
- Ensure the store environment reflects the brand’s image — compelling, inspiring, and aligned with global brand standards.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of retail associates to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance regularly to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and results-driven work culture.
Merchandise & Inventory Management
- Oversee the presentation of merchandise in line with brand guidelines to maximize sales and product turnover.
- Ensure optimal stock levels and assortment are maintained based on sales trends and customer demand.
- Supervise receiving, pricing, and stock counting procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement action plans aimed at driving category-specific sales.
Visual Merchandising & Brand Representation
- Partner with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure timely and impactful window and in-store displays.
- Maintain visual standards that reflect the brand’s identity and elevate the shopping experience.
- Ensure all product presentations support both aesthetic appeal and commercial effectiveness.
Business Awareness & Competitor Insight
- Stay informed about local market dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.
- Share insights and recommendations with the Store Manager to adapt strategies accordingly.
Compliance & Loss Prevention
- Implement internal control procedures and shrinkage prevention guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HR practices, and operational standards.
