Job Details Payday Money Centers (Store Manager/Teller)Compensation: Based on qualifications and direct experience in the business, monthly bonuses paid based on sales & collections.Payday Money Centers is a financial institution that offers an alternative to traditional banking. We are currently seeking people for our Orange County locations. Job Responsibilities: Management Functions: Supervise Marketing Associates. Exemplary Leadership Teaches and Delegates Manages to the goals of the company. Document both positive and negative performance orally and in writing. Resolves Customer and Employee Issues. Responsible for All Store Operations. Responds timely to Corporate Deadlines. (i.e.. payroll, courier pickup, etc.) Responds timely to Collection Deadlines. (i.e. 61st day, completed reports, etc.) Manages Breaks and Lunches Percentage of Managing versus on the window Reports to District Manager. Work Week Requirements (40-55 hours) Customer Service - Promotes Excellent Customer Service. Drive Sales and Cross Sell Ancillary Products. Resolves Customer Issues. Administer all policies, procedures and reporting functions. Establish and Control Customer Files. Identify fraudulent activity to prevent potential company loss. Stay updated on new products, services and procedure changes. Marketing/Promotions: Create and Promote Local Area Marketing. Local Area Business Visits and Follow-up. Manage Marketing Associates in Sales Promotions Memos/Mail: Review all memos and respond/follow appropriately. Alerts all store staff of new memorandums. Inventory Control - Responsible for Ordering and Auditing Inventory. Expense Control - Monitoring and adjusting variable costs (labor, supplies, etc.). Qualifications Previous banking, retail or sales experience (minimum of six months of previous retail cash handling experience) Excellent customer service and communication skills, including written and verbal Competent math skills Ability to multitask Basic computer skills is a must, ability to use a PC and alpha/numeric keyboard Proven Leader who inspires others Passion for customer service and desire to work for an organization whose culture demands it. Promotes Excellent Customer Service. Ability to effectively communicate courteously and professionally in English (written and verbal). Ability to accept constructive criticism and respond accordingly Cash Handling experience in a high-volume production environment. Must be available Monday through Sunday (in store or on call) Highly motivated self-starter who can identify and resolve situations or problems before they arise. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, 40 hour work week plus OT Bi-lingual a plus Job Type: Full-time Required Education: High school or equivalent Required experience: Customer Service/Sales: 2 years
