As Store Manager, you will take full ownership of our Manchester location, creating a high-performing, engaged team and delivering an exceptional consumer experience that reflects Berghaus’ performance heritage and modern relevance. What you’ll be doing: Leadership & Team Building Recruit, develop and lead a team of passionate Brand Ambassadors Create a culture of accountability, inclusivity, and high performance Coach and develop individuals to reach their full potential Commercial Performance Own store KPIs including sales, conversion, ATV and profitability Analyse trading performance and take proactive action to drive results Ensure strong execution of visual merchandising and product launches Consumer Experience Deliver a best-in-class retail experience rooted in product expertise Lead from the front—setting the standard for service and storytelling Ensure the team confidently communicates technical product benefits Brand & Community Engagement Position the store as a hub for the local outdoor community Build relationships with local groups, universities, and partners Drive events and activations that bring the Berghaus brand to life Operational Excellence Oversee all store operations including stock, compliance, and processes Ensure a safe, efficient, and well-organised retail environment What you’ll bring: Proven retail leadership experience (Store Manager or strong Assistant Manager ready to step up) Track record of delivering commercial results through people Passion for the outdoors and/or performance-led products Strong sense of ownership and accountability Resilient, adaptable, and solutions-focused Ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams Commercially astute with strong analytical thinking Excellent communication and storytelling ability Why Berghaus?
