OVERVIEW

Pokerrito is seeking a passionate and results-driven Store Manager to lead our team and uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a hands-on approach, and proven experience in restaurant or retail management. In this role, you’ll oversee all aspects of store operations, foster a positive team culture, and drive performance to meet and exceed business goals.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 1+ year of experience in restaurant or retail management (QSR experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with a positive, proactive approach.
  • Experience with POS systems and basic financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual ability is a strong asset.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to high-quality customer service and problem-solving.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the food service industry
  • Food Safe Level 1 certification
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations to ensure food quality, accuracy, and timely service.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu and train staff to confidently communicate items to customers.
  • Create a welcoming and customer-centric environment through active leadership and service modeling.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely restocking to avoid shortages.
  • Supervise team members during peak hours to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Enforce food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in full compliance with health regulations.
  • Lead, coach, and develop staff—overseeing onboarding, ongoing training, and performance improvement.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and shift transitions.
  • Place and manage supplier orders to maintain stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Ensure fair and accurate distribution of staff tips.
  • Coordinate front-of-house and back-of-house operations for seamless service delivery.
  • Motivate team members to uphold brand standards and exceed customer expectations.
  • Conduct regular cleanliness and safety inspections of the store.
  • Prepare and present monthly reports on sales, staffing, inventory, and operational improvements.
