A well-established retailer is seeking a strategic, hands-on Store Manager to take charge of their Kingston, ON location. This isn’t just about running a store - it’s about leading from the front, building strong teams, and setting the pace for operational and sales excellence. The ideal candidate is a confident leader with a deep understanding of the end-to-end sales process, from forecasting and merchandising to customer engagement and conversion. If you thrive in a dynamic retail environment and know how to motivate teams, drive metrics, and deliver an outstanding customer experience, this is your opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership role with growth potential.

DESCRIPTION

  • Lead all store operations with a focus on optimizing performance, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: sales forecasting, visual merchandising, pricing strategy, inventory control, and post-sale follow-up.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse team, cultivating a high-performance culture built on accountability and collaboration.
  • Analyze performance reports and KPIs to develop strategic action plans.
  • Ensure top-tier customer service standards are consistently upheld throughout the store.
  • Oversee compliance with health & safety, loss prevention, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to align on priorities, share best practices, and contribute to company-wide success.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of progressive retail leadership experience, ideally in a high-volume store environment.
  • Demonstrated success in driving top-line sales and bottom-line profitability.
  • Expertise in managing all aspects of the sales process, including customer journey, merchandising strategy, and team execution.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; able to interpret data and turn insights into results.
  • Comfortable with retail tech systems, performance reporting tools, and modern POS platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
