Job Summary The Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising employees and the Assistant Manager(s), if applicable.  The Store Manager is responsible for the store profits, and all controllable expenses, including labor, inventory levels, cash and inventory shortages. This position will be training at a close neighboring store until the brand new Gorham, New Hampshire store is ready to open its doors. List of Responsibilities: * Assist in the recruiting of, recommend for hire, and train, positive individuals to become members of the Rusty Lantern Market Team, ensuring excellent customer service. * Motivate, encourage and challenge store cashiers and kitchen personnel. * Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner * Implement and enforce established daily operating procedures to ensure store is clean, adequately stocked, organized and well kept. * Ensure all merchandise is stocked and displays ae attractive, priced correctly, and displayed in a safe manner * Maintain quality brand image standards  * Supervise, and discipline all store employees as dictated by company policies * Monitor daily retail gasoline competitors and sending prices to the Corporate office in a timely manner as established by Management. * Complete daily paperwork and computer entry in a timely manner as established by Management * Monitor cash over / short, inventory shortages and shrinkage, and drive offs daily. * Conduct Store meetings as needed with employees * Have the physical ability to complete all positions within the store if needed such as filling coolers, working in the kitchen or café and being a cashier * Understand all information in the daily reporting of daily operations * Follows and enforces all Company policies and established procedures in the Store Operations * Implement monthly promotions, insure all point of sale advertising and signage is properly posted at proper time. * Communicate and perform all prices change request, mark downs / ups as requested by the Operations Manager or CEO * Communicate any and all problems with merchandising pricing to Corporate office * Implement and enforce all merchandising and vendor policies and procedures * Enforce all Safety and Security issues and report any and all unsafe conditions * Conduct regular safety and security meetings and document with employees attending with signatures * Other duties as necessary Pay: Starting salary range of $60,000 - $65,000 plus monthly bonuses, to be discussed in further detail during the interview process. Education and Experience * High School diploma or GED recommended  Typical hours and Work Days * Managers are required to work 5- 6 days a week with Saturdays being an essential part of their work week.  This position also requires some Sundays and the flexibility to work a variety of hours is essential.
