The Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on, motivated Store Manager to lead our busy coffee shop. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations, from managing staff and ensuring top-quality service to hitting sales targets and maintaining our high standards.
This is a role for someone who’s as comfortable behind the counter making coffee as they are planning rotas, managing stock, and building a strong team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Manage daily operations, including opening/closing, cash handling, and stock control.
  • Ensure product quality and presentation meet our brand standards.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members.
  • Create staff rotas to balance coverage with labour costs.
  • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Maintain health & safety, food hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
  • Handle customer feedback in a professional, solutions-focused way.
  • Work closely with the owner to plan seasonal menus, promotions, and events.

About You:

  • Previous management experience in hospitality or retail (coffee shop or café experience is a big plus).
  • A people person who thrives on building strong relationships with both customers and staff.
  • Organised, efficient, and calm under pressure.
  • Skilled at problem-solving and making quick decisions.
  • Flexible to work weekends and adapt to business needs.
  • Passionate about coffee, food, and great service.
  • Can drive (not a must have)
