Description

Taka-Taka, a popular Greek takeaway, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Manager. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant’s operations, including staff management, customer service, food quality, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of employees, including scheduling, training, and performance management
  • Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times
  • Ensure that food is prepared and served according to the restaurant’s quality standards
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies as necessary
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure that revenue and expenses are in line with business objectives
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for customers and employees
  • Act as a liaison between the restaurant and external parties, such as vendors and suppliers
  • Continuously assess and improve restaurant operations to optimize efficiency and profitability

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a management role in the restaurant industry
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Familiarity with restaurant inventory management and financial reporting
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of Greek cuisine and culture is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£17.00 per hour
