QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Minimum 3–5 years of retail management experience; specialty retail experience is an asset.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to train, motivate, and retain high-performing staff.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and managing budgets.
  • Proficiency with POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Ontario Tobacco and Vaping Products Act (TVPA) and Health Canada compliance regulations preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as required.
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 15 – 45 per week

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all aspects of daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, merchandising, and compliance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve sales goals and deliver superior customer service.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and municipal regulations related to specialty vape retail.
  • Maintain accurate inventory controls, including ordering, receiving, and loss prevention.
  • Foster a professional, customer-focused environment that reflects Vape Hut’s brand values.
  • Execute company policies, marketing initiatives, and promotional campaigns effectively.
  • Report regularly to senior management on store performance, staffing, and operational matters.
