Description:

Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Manager/Store Operator to join our Sapara’s Drug Mart location in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Licensed and in good standing with College of Pharmacists of Saskatchewan
  • Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a Pharmacy Manager (preferred)
  • Possess entrepreneurial abilities and a will to grow the business
  • Ability to lead, coach, and encourage staff
  • Capability to collaborate with the front-store staff to find possibilities for patient care
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-directed and able to work independently.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism

Responsibilities:

The Pharmacy Manager/Store Operator is responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy and actively contributes to an environment of employee and customer engagement. The Pharmacy Manager will play a key role in achieving departmental excellence in the areas of patient focused care, customer service and workflow efficiencies.

  • Focus on clinical services (i.e., medication reviews, disease state management)
  • Promotes the Neighbourly brand through publishing, presenting, and participation in industry associations to improve brand awareness.
  • Follow and promote the Neighbourly policy manual to inspire a working environment that attracts and retains talented, committed and engaged employees
  • Initiate care plans, follow up and document
  • Administer vaccines
  • Determine appropriateness of drug therapy
  • Monitor medication adherence
  • Collect and document relevant patient, drug, and disease information
  • Recommend OTC products and vitamins
  • Answer questions from patients that require therapeutic knowledge, clinical analysis, or assessment
  • Supervise a pharmacy student or a provisional pharmacist in the performance of restricted activities
