About the Role (your why) The Store person is responsible for receiving, handling, sorting, scanning and dispatching goods within the warehouse. This role is located in Columbia Way Office NSW, Australia, and requires a Full-time onsite arrangement. What you’ll do The Store person responsible for (but not limited to): Receiving, scanning, sorting and placing incoming goods on shelves. Unloading and loading containers or vehicles of goods, both inwards and outwards. Operating computer systems to obtain details of stock quantity and location. Must have at least 2-4 years' experience operating machinery such as a forklift to lift, place and remove items. Forklift certification or relevant experience (Nice to have) Assisting with regular stock takes and cleaning of warehouse. Working in accordance with strict Work Health and Safety guidelines. Assisting with packing and physical movement of goods according to workload demands. Takes reasonable care that their actions (or inactions) do not harm the Health and Safety of self or others. Reports all incidents, hazards or unsafe work practices as per Datacom policy. What you’ll bring A successful Store person must understand warehouse management systems and ERP principles. Good understanding of work health and safety principles and legislation. Has previous experience in a warehousing /distribution /logistics. Why join us here at Datacom?
