Storeperson Weir Minerals Lytton Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm The Store person will assist the national warehouse team with managing both inward and outward stock movements whilst maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the store’s inventory records. Key Responsibilities: Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture. Fill orders accurately from pick lists, and packaging to specifications for transport. Book domestic freight collections Receive stock and match incoming shipping documents. Receive stock into designated locations. Receiving goods, assembling orders, picking for processing (advanced) Identify and reporting of receipt mismatches Use of tools and equipment within the warehouse (basic non-trades maintenance) Use of a computer terminal for purposes such as the maintenance of a deposit storage system, information input/retrieval, etc. Development and refinement of a store layout including the proper location of goods and their receipt and dispatch Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Relevant working experience in a warehouse environment Forklift license (mandatory) High-reach experience (desirable) Founded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
