Who are we? Jos Richardson & Son Group Ltd run forecourt and convenience stores across Yorkshire and have been operating for over 130 years, including our site in Pickering for more than 6 years. What are we looking for? We are looking for an ambitious StoreTeam Leader who can adhere to the values of our Yorkshire based family business. Working closely with our brand partners, SPAR, Shell and a number of local suppliers, you will help us to mange the site and showcase what JRS Services is all about. Our shifts run between 6am and 9pm, so a degree of flexibility will be required.

What does the role involve? We call the role a ‘Store Team Leader’ role, but it’s so much more than that, our store teams are the face of the business but also, are responsible for keeping our shop and forecourt looking at it’s absolute best - from stocking the shelves, running stocktakes, booking in deliveries, ordering stock, assisting customers and supporting the Site Manager. No two days will be the same and you’ll always be busy, that’s for sure ! As a Store Team Leader, you will lead from the front - supporting your store colleagues and not be afraid to step up to take on extra responsibilities in the absence of your Manager - including running the store and busy forecourt during your shift, handling the internal operations, placing stock orders, owning and running an area of the store and delegating jobs to the team.
