Mobilia Interiors Inc., a leader in contemporary home furnishings, is looking for a Store Warehouse Team Leader, to join our team.
Under the supervision of the Store Manager, the Store Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for shipping, receiving, picking and order preparation. He/she is also responsible for the maintenance, installation and presentation of the store as a whole. He/she must also offer courteous service to Mobilia customers. He/she will supervise a team of 1 to 2 employees.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct the team (1 to 2 technician (s)), in the performance of their job tasks.
  • Ensure that loading and unloading is done in a safe manner.
  • Make sure to respect the fact that customer pick-ups are priority and they must be carried out in a safe manner for the customer.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the merchandise price labels in accordance with the system.
  • Ensure the installation of products in the store by respecting visual presentation standards as well as store displays.
  • Identify and report issues to the Manager and/ or Assistant Manager, and carry out the appropriate follow-ups (damaged products, unrecognized labels)
  • Proactive management of warehouse inventory levels ensuring that inventory levels are in line with expectations.
  • Participate in the preparation of inventory counts (cycle count and/or end of year).
  • In collaboration with the Manager and/or Assistant Manager, identify the needs for various tasks and painting of the store, and make the appropriate follow-ups.
  • Maintain a safe work environment at all times by making sure to follow internal procedures.
  • Other warehouse related functions.

Skills and aptitudes

  • Ability to work independently (minimal supervision).
  • Be in excellent physical health and able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
  • Be organized, collaborative and efficient.
  • Be dynamic and energetic.
  • Must be punctual.
