Job Objective:
Manage the company’s storage and inventory operations to ensure the availability of required materials and tools, maintain their quality and safety, prepare purchase orders and submit them to the Purchasing Manager, and organize the use of tools and equipment among workers, applying best practices in organizing and distributing inventory.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels regularly, ensure material availability, and organize the warehouse.
- Purchase Orders Preparation: Prepare requests and submit them to the Purchasing Manager.
- Receiving and Inspecting Materials: Ensure they meet required specifications and quantities.
- Issuing and Delivering Materials: Record movement of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Tools and Equipment Management: Hand over and receive tools from workers and inspect their condition.
- Internal Coordination: Work with the projects and purchasing departments.
- Safety and Quality: Follow safe storage standards.
- Reporting: Prepare periodic reports on inventory and equipment status.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and computer programs.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of safety and storage procedures.
Required Skills:
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to plan and manage time effectively.
