Description:

We are looking for a reliable and organized Storeman to oversee and manage our inventory, ensure the smooth receipt and dispatch of goods, and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the store, ensuring stock is properly maintained, accounted for, and readily available to support operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERINECE

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management is a plus.
  • Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Proven experience in a similar role (e.g., storeman, inventory clerk, or warehouse assistant).

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, locations, and conditions.
  • Perform regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Monitor and record stock movement, including incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Accept deliveries, inspect goods for quality and quantity, and log them into the inventory system.
  • Prepare and package items for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Organize and store goods in designated locations for easy access and retrieval.
  • Ensure the storage area is clean, organized, and complies with safety standards.
  • Check goods for damages or defects and report issues promptly.
  • Ensure all stock complies with company standards and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions.
  • Generate and submit inventory reports as required by management.
  • Use handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working order.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Conduct safety checks and report any hazards or incidents.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual handling tasks and operate equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
