Description

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in inventory management and purchasing in the interior design or manufacturing industry.

SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and tools (ERP systems).
  • Familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
    Job Types: Full-time, Contract
    Contract length: 24 months
    Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per mont
Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management:
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Implement efficient inventory control procedures and systems.
  • Regularly conduct inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with system records.

  • Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and make informed purchasing decisions.

  • Purchasing:

-Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate terms and conditions to secure advantageous agreements.
- Create LPOs for approval.
- Tax Invoice closing.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Evaluate supplier performance and initiate corrective actions when necessary.

  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve supply issues and optimize the supply chain.

  • Supplier Management:

  • Liaise with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.

  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.

  • Source new suppliers and conduct vendor evaluations to diversify the supplier base.

  • Logistics Management:

  • Arrange and coordinate the transportation of materials.

  • Coordination with drivers for delivery arrangements and material collection and goods delivery.
  • Organizing Vehicles for Labor Transportation to work sites (Morning/Evening).

  • Daily time sheet preparation for drivers.

  • Quality Control:

  • Work closely with production teams to maintain quality standards for incoming materials and finished products.

  • Develop and enforce quality control procedures to minimize defects and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Implement corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
