Are you looking for a challenging and dynamic role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Storeperson to join our team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • High school certificate equivalent and/or relevant tertiary qualification
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in Stores or inventory management
  • Experience in a contract manufacturing environment is highly desirable
  • Proficient in computer use
  • Forklift license with combined forklift operation experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and a keen eye for detail in cross checking and updating records
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to maintain a well-structured and accessible stock system
  • Excellent communication skills (including both written and verbal) that enhance collaboration efforts with effective cross-functional teams and Leaders
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring accurate and timely task completion
  • Safety-conscious mindset
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality

Responsibilities

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure continuous update and maintenance of systems ensuring to promptly book in items upon receipt, aiming to eliminate any backlog of materials
  • Assist in assembling kits to ensure a smooth and efficient production process
  • Organise stock in a well-structured manner to ensure easy accessibility and efficient retrieval of components
  • Participate in cycle counts to uphold stock accuracy
  • Ensure that no materials are removed from or transferred into the Store without adequate recording of the transaction
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement of processes, focusing on individual, organisational and customer benefits
  • Ensure effective communication across departments to support smooth workflow
  • Uphold housekeeping standards and promote a clean, organised and safe work environment
  • Follow all directives from Team Leaders and the Leadership Team
