Description

We are looking for a talented individual to join our high performing warehouse team in Carole Park (Brisbane). In this role you will, under some supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in the warehouse. You will be responsible for managing the parts and supplies that come in and out of a workshop or warehouse. On a typical day, the job is to make sure the right parts are in stock, stored properly and ready when technicians or customers need them. You will make an impact in the following ways: * Receiving deliveries – Checking incoming parts and materials from suppliers to make sure they are correct and not damaged. * Putting stock away – Organising and storing parts in the correct locations so they are easy to find later. * Supplying parts to the workshop – Picking and issuing parts to technicians so they can complete their jobs. * Stock control – Keeping track of what parts are in stock, updating inventory in the computer system and reporting when items are running low. * Packing and dispatching orders – Preparing parts for delivery or shipment to customers or other branches. * Keeping the store tidy and safe – Making sure the warehouse or parts area is clean, organised, and safe to work in. * Helping customers or staff with parts enquiries via F2F, phone and email – Finding the correct part or checking availability.
